Yes! By default, tournaments score both IPS and ZERO simultaneously from a single gross stroke selection per hole. However, when creating or editing any tournament or round, you can select IPS Only — which automatically hides all ZERO columns, sort buttons, scorecards, and Excel export tabs across the entire event.
Scorers select a player's gross strokes (1–12) from a touch-friendly dropdown on each hole. The engine calculates IPS points using the player's official course handicap and simultaneously calculates ZERO points using the tournament's ZERO baseline (default: Men off 0, Women off 18, fully adjustable per tournament).
For each round, players are grouped by their assigned School/Team and the Best 3 of 4 scores are summed (for IPS, Gross, and ZERO when enabled). If two schools tie, the 4th player's score is automatically used as the tie-breaker. Across multi-round tournaments, each school's round totals are summed for the overall trophy.
No. Scoring works directly in any mobile browser (Safari, Chrome) via a secure token link or dedicated per-group Coach link. Only the Tournament Director logs in.
Yes. Each group gets a dedicated Coach Score Capture Link that displays only their assigned group's players. Coaches can capture scores either By Player or By Hole using mobile-friendly stroke dropdowns with zero horizontal scrolling.
GSDM Golf supports full 18-hole rounds as well as 9-hole rounds (Front 9 or Back 9) and automatically adjusts par and stroke index allocations.
When creating Round 2 or Round 3 under a tournament, click Load Players from Previous Round to carry over every player's Name, Handicap, Gender, Tee Box and School/Team automatically. You can then re-assign groups in one click by previous round standings (IPS, Gross, or ZERO — either Top 4 in Group 1 or PGA-style Leaders Out Last), edit groups in the fast Quick Group Matrix, or export/re-import via Excel. Spectators get a dedicated Multi-Day PGA Scoreboard showing R1, R2, R3 columns plus cumulative Tournament Totals.
Admins can mark any player as WD, DNS, or DQ on the round setup screen, in the Quick Group Matrix, or directly inline on the live admin leaderboard. Those players are automatically moved to the bottom of the rankings with their status badge displayed and are excluded from School Best-3 team calculations for that round.
